Nuclear Deterrence is a record of the moods and emotions accompanying the artists’ lives at a time when concepts that had once seemed like distant history and niche domain of geopolitics have once again become real, immediate, and part of everyday vocabulary.

Caramel Caramel respond to an unkind, near-hostile world by the primal act of Creation, dwelling in pursuit of the musical equivalent of ego death. Paweł and Jakub channel their diverse inspirations that range from k-pop through progressive rock, jazz, and several flavours of psychedelia, with a natural conclusion of noise and drone.

Nuclear Deterrence is an improvisational vehicle where their practice in guitar and synth work melts into a concoction of warm waves, a mysterious potion equal parts bitter and sweet. A call and response, deftly crafted in their home studio and partly in a wooden house in the middle of a forest in Southern Podlasie.
